Hi, I’m Alexis Jean
This little corner of the internet actually started years ago as Lex in the City, a college blog I created while living and studying in New York City. Back then, life was all about exploring a new city, traveling whenever I could, trying new things, and figuring out who I was along the way.
A lot has changed since then. I’ve graduated, moved back to New Jersey, built a career, gotten married, and traded my college apartment for a home of my own. I may be a little more settled these days, but I still love finding attainable adventures in everyday life.
Sometimes that means booking a trip somewhere new, and other times it’s trying a restaurant I’ve had saved for months, putting together an outfit I love, finding something that makes my home feel more me, or discovering a product good enough that I immediately need to send someone the link.
As my life evolved, it felt only right for this space to evolve with it. Lex in the City grew into Alexis Jean, a place for what I’m loving, where I’m going, and everything in between.
Here you’ll find personal style and affordable finds, beauty, home projects and inspiration, places worth trying, travel, and pieces of everyday life. Nothing too complicated or out of reach, just the things, places, and experiences I genuinely think are worth sharing.
